Waterville TG Inc. is a manufacturer of sealing systems for automotive
OEMs. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyoda
Gosei Co., Ltd. of Japan. Our sales are handled by TG
North America Corporation of Troy, Michigan.
Field of activity:
We manufacture a complete range of body sealing systems for automobiles:
window, door and trunk lid weatherstrips etc. We sell our products through
TG North America Corporation
to original equipment manufacturers as well as their suppliers. Our
customers include: Toyota, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, Mitsubishi,
Ford, GM, Mazda, Suzuki, Isuzu, Saab, Prevost Car, etc.
Our company operates manufacturing facilities in Waterville (Quebec),
Coaticook (Quebec) and Petrolia (Ontario). We also have distribution
centers in Sherbrooke (Quebec) and Petrolia (Ontario).
History:
Our history goes back to 1951 when a Connecticut-based company named
Sponge Rubber Products Ltd., which manufactured sponge rubber, built
a plant in Waterville, Quebec. Over the years, ownership passed through
various hands. In 1988, Waterville TG was acquired, in full, by Toyoda
Gosei Co., Ltd, a member of the Toyota family of companies in Japan.
