Quality Systems Assessment (QSA):

Based on AIAG’s (Automotive Industry Action Group) Quality System Assessment Manual, WTG's QSA checklist is designed to promote compliance to TS 16949 requirements and consistency; it is used to assess the quality system of new and existing suppliers.

The new or existing supplier will be requested to complete and return the Quality System Assessment questionnaire to your Buyer within an agreed upon time (usually 2 weeks). The supplier is to perform this self-assessment objectively in order to furnish the Buyer with a preliminary overview of the supplier's company quality processes, capabilities, procedures, etc. An emphasis will be made on the supplier's compliance to TS 16949 requirements.
